    Diablo or Draxxus?

What is the name deal with Draxxus and Diablo? I've heard they are one in the same, I've also heard draxxus is the new name, yet I still see diablo ads in PB2X. What is the deal with the name because I am confused.

Well..it's kind of small fish getting eaten by a bigger fisher who get's eaten by an even bigger fish...

Diablo is the name of a line of paintballs, Draxxus is the name of the company that manufacturers the paint..and NPS is the company that owns them and pretty much everything else in paintball except for Brass Eagle, WGP, WDP, AGD and Kingman.

Close, but not quite right there Dan.

Pro Caps are who makes both the Draxxus and Diablo paint.

NPS own the Diablo brand name. Pro Caps own the Draxxus brand name.

NPS is the exclusive distributor of all Pro Caps paint.

            Clear as mud now right?

              Paintball INC

You guys have left out Paintball INC.

These guys were National Paintball also and then became
Paintball INC for a number of reasons.

Paintball INC has Bluez for NPS's Redz,
PI (paintball inc) has the GT2000 for the Rebel,
They both have barrel lines, drop forwards, etc etc etc.

The only thing is that PI isn't as big a presence in the tourney
world because it is a money pit for the sponsors.

That is why a lot of people don't know about them unless
they sell stuff. This is where proball comes from.

Actually, there is more behind proball than that, but whatever.

                            Simon,

Not ALL of Pro-Caps paint is sold through NPS, a great deal of it though. Crossman buys a bunch too.

Redz is not owned by NPS, distributed though.

Whoever is responsible for that whole "bluez" thing needs a slap though.
