Another reason i love my Xmag

200 7 month old paintballs in an open bag
1 xmag
1 angel air
1 scepter barrel kit with .688 insert(un checked its blue and matches my gun)
12v hopper
NO BALL DETENT

fire in 20-40 burst succesions
all done within about 2 minutes

chops-0
barrel breaks- 3

ANd it shot teh baarel clean
gotta love lvl 10 ace combo!

What spring are you using? If you're going to be playing in that kind of weather and not terribly worried about efficiency, use the long gray spring.

Did you do a bounce test on the paint before you shot it? I'll bet with the weather it was about 0-1 bounce paint.

I know you're happy with the results, but 3 breaks out of 200 is still pretty high.

Yea but they were breaks, not chops. And those were probably due to the lack of detent.

Breaks still shouldn't happen if the bolt speed is right for the paint. I really don't see how the lack of a ball detent can cause breaks. Chops, yes, but not breaks. Then again, I've seen stranger things...

2 balls feeding and then the first ball smacking the next somewhere down the barrel. I've heard people say this happens, but never seen it.

If he didn't check the insert against the paint, the barrel could have been too small...

I know thats the only time I see broken balls anymore with LX.

ok i am really getting tierd of this! everyone with a xmag post you addresses and i will be by in about a week with a bat to break you knee caps!

First of all, any knee-capping that is to be done will be done by LoadSM5. (He knows why.)
Second- you can come break mine in a few months. BRING IT.

no i did no bounce test, but now that ive checked i need to use a bigger insert i almost blew my eyeballs out it was a tough fit
