Im liking it. Could anyone possibly tell me a price range so i can start saving my pennies and my dimes? I think that it might be better to have the trigger a little angled. Cant wait to see what they look like w/ a snatch grip. And as for the adjustable trigger angle that Automaggin2 suggested i think that would be a reat idea, maybe make it like the old Eclipse Cocker slide frame that had the blade trigger shoeComment

Here is a slightly modified one, showing you what I mean. The Intelliframe has a nice curve underneath the trigger guard and it feels real smooth on the fingers.
Aso, I did some small drawings at the bottom left illustrating, to an extreme degree, the difference of angles between the trigger, which is straight up, and when operated, having an angle opposite that of the frame, and then the angle of the frame itself. I'm wondering if the 'bow' of an angle made by the trigger and the grip frame would cause any discomfort, because I don't know how well a human hand could conform to that 'bow'.
If you look at the z-grip, the line of the trigger is parallel to the line of the angle of the grip frame, making it natural to grip. I hope you guys understand what I mean.

Dave, you hit the nail on the head, that looks great, like he said, angle the trigger so its parralel with the grip... that way is just un comfy. But its coming along greeeeeeeeeat. And I-Feed makes it an instant buy for my future mag :)Comment

I don't think you can copyright an angle. As long as the frame looks nothing like the space frame, then I don't see what the problem would be.Originally posted by Xerces

I believe WDP patented it or something...that's why the guys who wanted to make vertical impulse frames got hassled, delayed launch, changed their name....and I'm not even sure if they've been released yet.
I'd see nothing wrong with a 88* frame though :) I might even be able to deal with a 89* if its shaped nicely
However, I think if tom angles the trigger to correspond with the angle of the frame, I'd prefer the Y over either.
Yes...that's right. I'd take the Y frame over both a 88* OR a 89* frame...it might sound crazy but it's true.
I'm such a loser :) Tom, you've been a busy bee and it seems to be paying off. I can't wait for this thing to come out! Z 4EVER!

tom, give and option for vertical trigger or parallel trigger. the vertical trigger would be so nice for us players who want roller triggers and the parallel (to the frame angle) triggers would be more comfy for the normal players who don't like rollers.

I'm sorry, maybe it's just me, but how do you shoot that thing? Your wrist is inline with the angle of the grip frame and then your fingers have to twist back so they can pull the trigger straight back. Doesn't look as comfortable as a Z-Grip to me.Comment
