It comes installed, but not tweaked. You'll still have to mess with it a little bit after the o-ring breaks in.

Nice LX-E. Spiffy battery covers, i would get one too. It must weigh much less than the stock one.

You can forget you are holding it on your hand. It weighs next to nothing. If I had a scale I would weight it. It's great.

Besides the red color... that's exactly how I want my e-mag to be set up. If only I could scrape together cash for the x-valve and frymark stuff.
