SF Bay Area Field Recommendation?

Sunday is my day to play (work on Sat), and I'm trying to find a new field to check out. I usually go to Modesto (Extreme), Sunol, Sherwood or Operation Paintball. This weekend I want something different. Thinking about either the Jungle (haven't been there in 8 yrs), Venture Games near Clayton, or maybe the new field in Santa Clara. Any hints on where I should go?

Dude I lived in the SF bay before i moved out to Minnesota, the best place to go is modesto, by far the most competitive place in the bay. They also have really nice fields.

na, if your lookin for speedball, do the drive to WAP. hands down one of the best fields in Northern California.

WAP is actually on my list of places to go in the near future. Just don't think I'll have the time to make the 1.5 hr trip there and back this Sunday. Other issues are coming up. That's why I'm usually at Sunol (15minutes away) or OP (10 minutes away).

im a regular at venture. its a rec feild, thats pretty laid back. if you like speedball, or hyperball, then this isn't the feild. this is a woodsfeild that is a whole lotta fun. i will be up there this sunday reffing. my names kevin. i'll be the red head with the gimp.


but its a really great feild. i haven't found a pball feild with nearly half the atmosphere as venture. the owner mike, is a great guy. check out the site www.venturegamespaintball.com

I too frequent Extreme in modesto. I use the term frequent very loosely, don't get out too often. I tried WAP for a change, and it was great. I'd go there more often if it wasn't so far away.

i would stay away from Jungle if i where you, its full of a bunch of cheaters. and Bob is a jerk.
everything is run horribly.

i stopped going there. because they have TWO !!refs for each team of more then 70-90 people.

Fairgrounds was real nice to it got shutdown.
sherwood is nice too.

Fairgrounds got shut down? Wow, that sucks, when I lived out there I was up there every few weeks, it was a blast. What happened to it?

Couldn't agree with you more there. Jungle is huge, there are always a crapload (100 or so) people there, mostly newbies and the SF hornets. Bob is an *******, and the final game, where all of the walk ons take on the hornets is a joke, granted it's only 20 on 80, but the hornets wipe like crazy. There is NEVER a ref to be found when you need one.

They lost their lease but the Airball field is going to be setup at Sherwood sometime when they clean out all the crap next to it. Should be fun.

naw man .... we talked to them when me and ALex went.
there WAY to much glass for them to put up the airball feild right there... so its not going to happen anytime soon.
