    New Field In Centeral IL

    Hey guys, just saw this in the paper, but there is a new field that is going to be built right outside Downs, IL. (Its like 10 minutes from Bloomington/Normal)

    I dont have the newspaper article, but IIRC the guy is buying this huge inflatble dome to be used as the building. Ive never heard of this, has anyone else?

    Anyways, its going to have a really big 'ruined city' type field, and a speedball field, along with some other stuff like an RC track and 24ft Rock Climbing wall.

    If you ask me ditch the other stuff for another field.

    But suposedly this is going to be a reaaaaaaaly big dome... anyone else see this?

      there's one of these "domes" up near me in Aurora, right off of ogden. But they don't have paintball, just batting cages, golf, etc. Seems like a relatively inexpensive (cheaper then brick and mortar maybe?) way to setup a field.

      Too bad Normal is kind of a far drive for me.

              Check the Pantagraph... it was either friday or saturday (as in 4 days ago) On the front page of the buisness section.

              It said he had just proposed it to the Downs city counsil or whatever... but within the year I believe.

              You go to ISU?

                          OMG!!!!!!!!! if it happens.. and it has good fields.. then Im all for it.. (cliff ima bunker ya @ practice just cuz i think you deserve it)
