How Light is your Electro Trigger??

um i can tap it barely and it fires on both impulse and emag i dont know

on my friends Strange Imp.it to fire while running. so we dont even use the trigger. we drum our fingers on the top of the gun so it fires. its great he started to play Whipe out one day on the field during play. lol i still like my buddys e-mag trigger though. a small blow of air will set it off.

methinks you wont find an electro in the ounce range, too heavy. remember, there are 16 ounces in a pound

I don't actually own any electros
but from the ones that I have used
I think it's fair to say grams are a better unit of measure than ounces for this exercise
i equate most electros' triggers to a mouse click
that's gotta be less than an ounce

i really really can't take the anticipation

hmm....On my Timmy, I would have to say....about .5 to 1 ounce. It's alot lighter than all the other electros I have shot, so I dunno.

well, This is a little tough. I just dropped my emag to 1 magnet on a TM63 trigger and it is pretty darn light.

for a reference my hunting rifle is 5 pounds, my pistol in double action mode is 14.5 pounds, single action mode is 3.75 pounds (not very heavy. I have fired TONS of shots through my pistol (well over 2k)I would have to say around

< 1 oz, maybe 1/2 to 3/4 oz at the low side of the trigger and maybe 3/4 to 1 oz ot the top if the trigger.

I cant wait untill Tom tells us what this is about, and posts the results.

No electro, and I haven't set my new x-valve yet, so I can't say much other than 'Too stiff', per my last valve. We'll see with this one. :)

Well, let's see here. I'm using a Tiny Tornado (angel trigger) with an Omron D2F-FL switch. The manufacturer's specs for the -FL are a 20-gram activation force. Let's be generous and say the actual amount is 30 grams (a shade over an ounce). The shape of an angel trigger is like a class-2 lever (IIRC), so it would seem that my activation force (if pulled from the bottom of the 2-finger trigger) would have to be less than 30g. Does that make sense?

mine is a bit over 1 ounce. it took 5 quarters to totally pull it and 4 quarters wouldnt so i estimate 4 1/2 quarters. and 4 quarters weigh a bit under one ounce.
