RT Pro or '02 fade Shocker?

Either going to buy a vert. feed RT Pro, or a 2002 dark gray to light gray fade Shocker.

I'd probably buy a no rise body for the RT and a level 10 kit. As for the Shocker...I'd leave about everything the way it is.

Please post your opinion, I appreciate it a lot.

I have an RT Pro, and I don't think I'm going to own a differant gun. Love it. It's Fast, and doesn't have the "toy" trigger of an electro.

..I think Tom's got something in the works for a super-light mech. frame too.. I think.

Gotta go RT. Shockers are nice, but my mag is running perfect and its an old-school RT. Gotta love the mags

RT Pro and don't look back

w / Lv 10, the Shocker has nothing on the RTP. My teammate got a Shocker Sport shortly after I got my RTP. All it has are disadvantages. The RTP shoots just as fast (faster with practice), sucks less air, is smaller, more reliable (nothing worse than spend 1k on a gun and being forced to use your Pro-Carbine when it won't shoot).

Plus you get the backing of AGD instead of a company who's idea of quality is submerging there markers in red Locktite.

shocker is better for co2 and such, and it will have a much better air efficency than the RTP. the RTP with lvl 10 drasticaly cuts into the effective amount of air in a tank.

A new RT Pro COMES with level 10 now!!!!

It does not, at this point, allow a no rise body option though so you will have to do some swaping around of body and barrel or order a High Rise center and have it converted. One or the other.

Drastic Xen? Now that an exagerations if I ever heard one. 10 percent maybe but I would not call that "drastic"

                    What position do you play?

                    Front - RT Pro
Mid - Either ... I'd go with shocker here.
                    Back - Shocker

lvl 10 doesnt run any lower than 900 psi left in the tank on any marker i have ever seen a lvl 10 on thats like 900 shots off a 68/4.5k and that is TERRIBLE

How many you looked at? Not what I seening at all. I see 1100 or a bit more off of a 68/4500. Seen my tank at 600 once before it quit but I never allow myself to get that way in the field. You gotta quit chatting between games and get ready! Lazy! I call hog wash on your numbers unless they just do not have it set up right and are using a very ported barrel as well. I got three of em so I have personal knowledge of these.

You've got a point Xen. Shot for shot, the LX RTP uses less air than the Shocker, but the Shocker can operate at much lower pressure.

Still, my friend has two 68/4500 Nitro Ducks and he can't get through one case of paint. So, he isn't doing much better than 900, if at all.

If low gas consumption is the selling point, you don't buy either gun. That being said, what advantage does a Shocker have?

Yea well he is justifying the use of the term Drastic in his argument though. And that I call him on. Drastic is a relative term I know but in this case used as an exageration of the differences. They are not "Drastic" They are different.
