maybe its made better, but its still a ripped off design.
that makes sense since ACI bought the rights for it.

well the matrix was originally and still is marketed as a closed bolt marker because it fires from a closed bolt just like every other gun on the market. My bet is SP is gonna hype it up the same way if it is a spool valve design.
Did you hear about the new european weapons contracts? France is going to make the wooden sticks Spain making the little white flags

I don't see the similarity to the nova or mayhem

Butter NO ONE that actually owns a matrix thinks it's a
closed bolt marker, we just do this at the
line "Fires during closed-mode of bolt's travel for superior accuracy"

A lame bit of marketspeak but they are not calling it a
closed bolt marker, because it is not.

I LOVE the new design! It is one of the best looking guns I have ever seen. Maybe because it is magish, but I really like it. I liked the old shocker and I can't wait to try this new one out.

Don't get me wrong, I still love my Mini and nothing is going to change that

It would be easier to ask what they haven't changed.

mmm, well there is still an AA barrel on it...

i read the patent, its basically a mayhem with a gas-returned bolt.

ACI didnt buy any rights to any spool valve markers. PGI owns rights to th mayhem design (as far as i know), but they have no patent. ACI merely supplied gripframes and regs, and went so far as to distribute for a while.

Why some people feel the need to make negative remarks about a marker that hasn't been released yet is beyond me. It may be the greatest thing since sliced bread for all anyone knows. Smart Parts has made some great products. The Impulse is a very nice marker. They make some great barrels. I think the new Shocker looks sweet.

im not making fun of the gun, i have already stated it ay be the best damned gun ive ever shot, im just stating that the original, base, dimensions-are-irrelevant design is not new, nor so far has it been very good.
