Why are warp shells so expensive?

Just wondering... I wouldn't mind paying 20-30 for new shells, but friggen $65! wow... The halo shells are only $30, and they seem to be the same kind of material (polycarbonate?).
Hey Zero, how much did that Chipley cost ya?

It takes alot of Baby Dolphin intestine to make a warp shell.

Seriously, It's because they aren't really a big item. If AGD made 10,000 warp shells on top of the ones he already makes for the warps, and they all sold within weeks, it would be different.

Baby Dolphins, eh? I thought the shells were what kept the baby seal clubbers in business...

And I guess that makes sense... supply/demand type thing...

and yes the redwings DO suck

                        go blues!

I don't know how the shells are made, but it seems to me the warp shells would have to have more time to refine them, halos are just a big bubble
