I currently use a 16 in. Freak Aluminum system with an All American tip. I was using a 12 in. Stainless Steel Dye barrel and the Freak is much nicer. I always have a perfect fit plus it is much lighter with better accuracy.

You can't go wrong with any Freak system and if you break a part on it you can easily replace it. The inserts, front barrel piece, or the back piece aren't very expensive.

          First Off.....

In terms of INSERT Barrel kits.... I would go with the Scepter - longest, strongest inserts of any insert kit, and they lock into place.

In terms of 2piece kits, where the backs measure in at diff. bores, the J&J Edge Kit.

I heard the pipe can shoot through breaks really easily. But the only thing is that i would have to get a barrel adapter. Or i couldmaybe ask pmi to make a ICD threaded pipe just for me. Not likely but they might. I dont think a barrel adapter would work all that great. Im not planing on getting it soon but i want to see all the different kinds of barrels.

Do u know anyone that can rethread a barrel? Or can u like buy a thing that rethreads screws? u know the things that look like nuts but have sharp edges on the inside. Some of u prolly dont know what im talking about. If u do can u tell me what size the ICD thread is.

No such thing as a scepter for mags, unfortunately. I heard that Tuna might be working on a project relating to that, though.

Check out http://www.equationusa.com/ms/ms.html These are realy nice Barrel systems. There inserts are stainless steel and then coated in a teflon type coating(the say 3 times slicker than teflon). The inserts allso line up realy nice and wont bend if you drop them like the freak inserts do. These Barrel Sets are getting realy popular in So.Cal

I was looking at those equation barrels and those are sweet. The only thing is can u guys tell me what the most commom inserts are. If i bought alll of them it would be $280. I email evil and asked if they could special make me a icd threaded pipe but they havent replyed. i might just send my gun in to get rethreaded.
