What constitutes "tricked" in your opinion?

Just out of curiosity, what do you consider "tricked" to mean?

I see ads for "tricked" this or that, and find a stock gun with a new grip frame or some other minor part changed, and thats it.

For me a "tricked" gun is one with a lot of custom work done to it, Chimera for instance.

I agree for the most part, but custom work is not a must. I think that say, a cocker, with new EVERYTHING (say, shocktech parts) could be "tricked" but not 1 or 2 minor upgrades. BTW, anyone know where I can get some custom parts for an impulse?

                  What about my gun?

(I know my gun isn't "tricked" out, but just modified to suit my tastes)

I still need to mod the intelliframe so that my sear pin doesn't fall out then I will have that on it.

I also have a new bicycle rubber forgrip added for better grip, speed collar (so I can use my 4 speed pods), etc.

According to what you said then a LVL 10 kit would be almost "tricking" out your mag since it is a upgrade that increases the performance big time. I can't even short stroke and blow apart old paint very easy. I have had some 5+ month old paint that I left in a zip lock bag and fired 100 rnds as fast as I could pull the trigger. I only had 1 break in the barrel (not from the piston) and had a few short strokes without breaking the balls.

Well.. if you something like that expecting something out of the ordinary, you could say you've been "tricked"

Personally.. I prefer the word "upgraded" over "tricked" and "souped up", etc. Or maybe just "not stock"

Now I really never understood why you'd call a marker "tricked." Literally, what the hell is that supposed to mean?

In my experience, "tricked" has just about always meant "ugly" and/or "modified beyond usefulness".

tricked in my opinion is everything done to it and there is nothing else to do, for example my gun, everything is done but a halo or egg, and a bigger N2 bottle, but those arent necesary. I
