If you get a X-Valve or Retro valve and do that on a field is it still legal? Is it only legal if the ref can't do it?

the classic does recharge at 17bps without a whole lot of shootdown. the halo was tested by odyssey with a classic mag, and there are videos of it shooting 17bps with a hyperframe without noticeable shootdown.
