Chaos, i don't know why you have to be such a cynic..if you don't believe in the product; don't buy it. Let Tom worry about AGD's reputation, you don't have to do it for him. It looks as though around 70% of the people who have voted would like to be given a chance to purchase the 45 Flatlines before the general public, whether or not you define this as a "hookup" is up to you. I honestly value your opinion but i disagree with it, and that's fine, this is a free country and you are entitled to it.

I care about AGD's reputation because, in the tourny scene down here in SoCal, its a horrible rep. People would completely disrespect my equipment because I had a 'blender' or a 'nail gun'. I just dont think everyone is thinking about this besides getting to buy a 4500 flatline before its released to the general public. I believe in the product I just dont want to make AGD's rep any worse.

Think about it, AGD was a 12 man company, now they've laid off people. The automags rep, atleast down here, is pretty bad, atleast in the tourny scene. I have newbies telling me at school I suck because I own mags. And they have no clue what they're talking about except from other peoples rumors. If they think I suck, I can garentee they'll go buy a cocker if they get the money over a mag. Think about what that does to AGD in the way of sales. So to your question if I care about AGDs rep, then Yes I do because it may or may not mean the loss of a great business in the long run. You all want to make an 'influence' in AGD, and work out technical stuff with your opinion, yet anything really technical you say just let tom worry about it. When Tom is taking our opinions about it, then making his decision, he's making it based off our responses and his decision, so all in all we influence the 'rep' of AGD also.

LOL, I was kidding . But I don't think its that big a deal if AO members get them first because (1) Anyone who wanted one could join AO. and (2) My field dosnt fill 4500

I feel that AO members should be the first to purchase every new product. Not because I'm greedy, just as a way to show how important AGD thinks the members of AO are.

the reason why i started this thread wasn't to show off all our hookups or that we deserve special treatment, but to show to AGD that we are their greatest asset as mag fans, we are the ultimate extension of the company. If we as a group have problems, the public at large with have those same problems and maybe even more. If it wasn't for the fact that Tom does not tolerate this little problems, we wouldn't have the troublefree marker that we have today and i respect that.
