    Palmer Stabalizers

Can I use a palmer stabalizer on a micromag? I want to use CO2, and figure a stabalizer is the best route for keeping the liquid CO2 out, but can i use one on a mag, since they already have a built in regulator? If not, what should I do to keep liquid out? I am soon going to get a z-grip though, so I need something that will fit onto the forgrip extension thing. Would a vert. bottle work in this case, or is the extender still too short?

Stabilizers work GREAT! I would definately get one if possible... I know Palmer also makes a sideline stabilizer, that you screw in right before the valve, so you can get one of those if they don't work with the extended forgrip...

But yeah, while you won't have a problem with the Stab, getting an antisyphen tube wont hurt either... plus they are cheap too...
Hey Zero, how much did that Chipley cost ya?

Get a vertical adapter, and then you can use the stablizer. I doubt you'd be starving the valve.

since you're using co2 the stab would be a great idea
as koosh already mentioned you can get the sideline stab so you dont have to worry about it fitting
do you use a drop forward?
if so im not sure the vert stab would fit without the foregrip extender...but im pretty sure it'd be fine with the extender

and using a stab with co2 is the same as using a hpa tank which has a built in regulator
          it'll work well for you
just do a little research as to how to set your stab to work best with your air valve
you just have to make sure that you don't set the stab's pressure so close to the air valve that it starves it...

The best way to prevent co2 problems for the money is as mentioned, an anti siphon tube properly installed by a local airsmith. If you want to take care of any and all problems, then get a stabilizer. The combination of the two will have you set pretty damn well.

                    Sideline reg....

I used my sideline for years before I bought Nitro. IT NEVER FROZE UP!!! I never had consistency problems or anything. I amazed the heck out of a tech one day because I was a moron and couldn't get the two regulators to work well together. When he got it working right he couldn't believe how consistent the Palmer kept the shots, on CO2. I often thought of selling it, but I just love it so much. I don't even use it any more. Get one, and Palmer sells it in different colors, mine is RED!

Yup, I had a nickle sideline on my mag from when I ran CO2. Works awesome. Never went liquid, even without a anti-siphon tank.

Hey Kev - You sell micro rocks? Will they work ok down in the ultra low pressure range (about 800 in and I need 0-100 psi output)

Ok, i think i'll use a stabalizer then. But will it work with a z-grip? or do i have to buy an extender?

if you go with the sideline stab you won't even have to worry about it because it mounts right along side your air valve
and i could be wrong but i think even a vert stab would work with the z-grip anyway

oh, sorry, and they are made to operate from ~40-140psi. they are for a cocker's ram. theyll take 800+ psi in and put out 0-???(at least 150)psi. I dont know their exact limit for the max pressure, but its at least 150
