    Benchmark 2x Trigger...

I will never dump my minimag. If I ever make some money Ill probrably buy an RT or maybe even an Xmag (when im like 30) but until then Ill settle with my old-school MM. However ive had this piece of crap benchmark 2x Trigger on it for awhile, and its starting to irritate me.

2 Things - Anything I can do to shorten the trigger pull (other than adjusting the sear cuz I already did that) and anything I can do to stop the side to side jiggling of the trigger,

Or should I just dump it for an intelliframe.

Also - I recently got an HPA tanke (68ci 4500 Crossfire). Now I need a bigger dropforward, something that will go 7" forward and 2 down will be nice, right? with that ill probrably just look and experiment but what im more worried about is my Xpansion Chamber. Should I swap it out for a gas-thru forgrip now that its nolonger required. What are the disadvantages to using an xchamber with HPA?

    Thanks for any advice.

dump it and buy the intelli like I just did on saturday :) very happy

but to shorten it, you can thread the end of the sear pin and put a barrel nut and locking nut on it, extending the sear

or you can do the same to the back of the benchmark trigger, but backwards

to reduce the slop you can punch the pin out where the trigger connects to the frame and put tiny little washers in there or brass shim

according to my latest fleet statement i have 120 bucks left on my debit. I think im going intelli .

Trigger pull on that is really really nice I imagine, especially when compared to most other mechanical triggers?

I have tried DYE, Benchmark and I-Frame. There is no comparison, I-Frame all the way. You will be a happy MM owner (as I am).

          absolutely go intelli. they rock.

as for trigger distance, you're pretty much SOL, I wouldn't mess with the measurements.

As for your expansion chamber, dump it, it does nothing with HPA and just a gas through will make your gun a little lighter probably.

yea, i-frame is the way to go. the thing w/ my i-frame on my minimag RT, i only need like 1/2 of the available trigger pull length, so i might take the trigger out, drill and tap it to put a set screw in there as a trigger stop to take up the slack...no use in pulling it 2 inches when i only have to pull 1 to make it fire (no, those aren't actual lengths)
AIM- TheJester493 IM me some time

take a look at my minimag ....
