Reloader or Rico?

im debating no what hopper to get ...
my defiant is coming in this week and i'll try my revy but once i get used to the trigger im afraid i'll outrun it...
defiants dont have level 10s either

i still have my mag tho

All of those feed around the same I think, so why not get an evo2 or halo b?

Personally between the two, i would choose the VL 12v Rev. The reason is because the Ricochet spins 2x after a ball(s) pass the tounge. But once in a while, a ball might just escape without bypassing the sensor which might result you in shooting blank for a shot, or a few shots, atleast until a ball falls down either from the kick of your gun or from you shaking it. One good thing about it is that it works somewhat like a gated feed. Balls can not go upward into the hopper due to the tounge 225 degree positioning. Now, with the Rev, whenever there is no ball in the neck, it will just keep spinning until there is. Thats really the reason why i prefer a Rev. Might I suggest a Turbo Rev? Defiants can shoot pretty fast. They were THE poor man angel a few years back. Turbo Rev can feed a few balls per second faster, and come with this 6 prong impeller which feeds more efficiently when your paint is low in your hopper.

Other than that, i would recommend an EvoII.

actually empire makes an "upgrade" for the current revulution hopper caled the "reloader". i would definetely get an egg II if you look hard,you could find them for 60 brand new!

First off.... I love my Reloader on my SFL.... works just fine for the time being, my low shooting from playing in the front.

But anyways.... WTF... There is no place that sells Evolution IIs for less that $65 bux... if even that.. Every place I visited is selling them for at least $69.95

FeeltheRT: I thougth the Richocets had an active feeding system, instead of a IR eye that dectects an absensce of a ball, there is a small sensitive feeler/probe connected to switch that feels the ball and activates the impelers when a ball move past the feeler. So in essence its almost like an Xboard, it agitates the hopper after every shot. Is this correct?

For your guys information, Defiants/bushys detents are really to weak for a gravity fed hopper and you get double feeding.

Yup, every shot makes it spin, plus, the sensor acts a little bit like a gated feed so you always have balls in the stack ready to feed.

It's no halo or evolution, but for a gravity hopper I like my rico a lot.
