Is this true???: "you can't use RT in tournaments"

    Garkon98: cool
    Garkon98: or get an emag
Garkon98: emag would be better probably
Garkon98: you can't use RT in tournaments
    FishSauce66: but 400$ more
    FishSauce66: why not?
Garkon98: because in tournaments it's one pull one shot
    FishSauce66: ...
FishSauce66: RT doesnt do that man
FishSauce66: its the reactive yer think of
    Garkon98: exactly
Garkon98: and therefore you can't use it in tournaments
FishSauce66: u can use an RT
    Garkon98: I don't think so
    FishSauce66: we'll see

Karkon98 is just mislead. Yes the Automag RT is allowed in tournamments and is legal as long as it's not in runaway mode. The Tippman RT is not allowed in tournaments becuase it is ALWAYS in runaway mode. I believe most of these rules are set because of insurance issues.

Taking mags apart is fun, its even more fun when you don't know what you're doing

run off mode is where the the trigger pushes back harder than the amount of presure to hold the trigger back there for moving it back and forth extremely fast with out any effort from the user. It's considered full auto even though your finger is still going back and forth.

X-positive, The RT mod for the M98 is not always run away, it's just real easy to set it that way.

          If I get an RT

How would I put it into "runaway" mode?

You could get it into runaway by increasing the input pressure, but then you run the chance of chopping more balls.

FeeltheRT have you ever shot the model 98 RT? It is out of control all the time. It has a strange feel to it but it the trigger bounces off your finger even when you're not trying.

The rt is allowed in nppl but at some local fields and local tournies they're banned.

                  .

I've yet to run across a local field or tourney that has banned the RT, except for ones that ban all electro's as well, or one tourney around here that has banned HPA(And thus effectively RT's, although it only banns electros' and HPA officially).
