    AGD Flexfit Hats???

    Guys and Gals,

We are working on getting hats made and are coming up against a delema. We can get very nice brand name Flexfit embroidered hats but they will retail for like 25 bucks. Pricey but the real thing. The other option is to go with an embroidered import for like 15 bucks.

As ususal I bow to your greater wisdom, which way do we go?

    Thanks

You'll sell a lot more hats at $15 than $25. But that being said, I'd buy the $25 flexfit.

Here's a novel idea. Why not offer both. Those that want the $25.00 will buy that one and those that want the less expensive hat will buy it. This way you get the best of both worlds. My personal preference would be the FlexFit and that's what I voted. If I could by the cheaper one as well i could wear it on the field when I play. I might think twice about doing that with the $25.00 hat.

Sorry, not paying 25 bucks for a hat. Major League sports hats don't run that much usually, they run about 20 bucks generally (at least for the San Fran Giants).

                              Flex fit

Tom, this suprises me in all honesty. Everything AGD has stood for has been quality, reliability, etc. That being said, would you put cheaper, generic parts on your markers? How well stitched, fitting, etc. is the less expensive hat? If it is quality at a lesser price, go cheap. If it is cheap production at a cheap price, go AGD (Doesn't that stand for Always Good Design?) ;@} The problem with two cents, is often, you can't give change and a two cent piece can't buy anything.
