How do you polish your body?

I see these really nice looking Bodies listed as hand polished. What process are you going about doing it? How do you get up into the crevices without leaving swirls?

i used sand paper, starting with a lower grit and working up, if you use a search, you will find a lot of information on it.

start with like 600 grit sandpaper, work up to like 2000, then buff. :-)

Here is a little thread that may help out.

            Well I...

1)Buff it on a light grit wheel
            2) clean it off an stick it into an electropolisher
            3) Electropolish 2-3 times for 8-10 minutes
            4) then hose it off
            5) Next I apply some mothers polish and take it to a fabric wheel to buff it and turn the thing into a mirror.

All this is done in a machine shop which I have access to, If you'd like I can do this for 20 shipped for ya.

Mag bodies are stainless steel. They won't rust.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
