Happens a lot. Keep searching captain!
Dunno what to do about dent in ceiling though... -
hehe, i recal a load sm5 quote...
"You see the thing about lx is that there is still a good amount of residual pressure lkeft in the valve, so when you remove it, the lx flys out like a cruise missile to harpoon your cat. this could be good or bad depending on if you like cats."
it goes something like that, you just gotta be careful with these things.... Also, why are you ditching the e-mag? what problems has it been giving you?

my on/off flies out everytime i take my valve out. from what i hear, getting a pro connect might help this problemComment

I still cant find it,, I have torn apart my room, Well I think that it flew into the air vent, becuase it was open. So I gotta get a chair and a flashlight, a pole. Looks like im going fishing.Comment

Well after looking through the vent, I found nothing. My room is completly torn apart, the search continues.Comment

well you see thats your problem you tore yout room apart. it was probabally lying nicely on the floor, and you went rampaging. what exactally are you missing, the whole on off assy? or just the pin? also, look at the dent, trajectory etc, and try and get a feel for where it may have deflected to, it will help you find it easier.

What the hell, don't you de-gas the valve when you take it apart? Even without a proconnect I always de-gas the thing before I take it apart. I have noticed the Retro has waaaay more air built up inside if it than the regular AIR valve, but I always de-gassed that one too. Strange guys.Originally posted by EsPo

#1, if the gun was gassed up, the macro fitting would not part from the macro itself.
#2.. READ next time buddy "You see the thing about lx is that there is still a good amount of residual pressure lkeft in the valve, so when you remove it, the lx flys out like a cruise missile to harpoon your cat. this could be good or bad depending on if you like cats."Comment
