AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
The guy who owns my local field just got back from the World Cup, and he said they are selling clear barrels, and clear bolts now made out of like bullet proof glass .
As far as the whole science thing, perhaps you misunderstood me. I said Tom Kaye used science applied to the sport of paintball. All I meant was, that Tom proved there was no ball distortion, no increase in accuracy from low pressure, blah blah. He found no real need to make a larger fill chamber or whatnot to lower the operating pressure. Some may use "pure knowledge" to build their markers, but what I'm talking about is scientific research.
Why do tournament winning teams usually shoot angels? Sponsorship, established popularity.. there are numerous discussions on this subject.
I'm not saying anything about the mag being perfect, or other companies being less perfect. I'm just saying that Tom used my language, science, for research. While other companies' markers may work great, how much of people buying their products comes from that hype? I shoot a Dark Angel, and love it to death.. Did I buy it because of all the hype? Yes and no, I wanted to see what the hype was all about, wanted an Emag more, but I got a great deal on the Dark.
Anyway, this is getting off topic..

Science and technology are similar and most pb companies use technology and math.. Good ol fashion technology isn't really science but with the countless experiments that tom and agd have performed just for the sake of paintball I'd say they are more scientificly based than wgp or wdp.
