As a heads up, you do have a little bit of competition
I just got back from Skyball and one banner (Must have been over 50 feet long!!!) was already up in the stands. There were rumours of at least one or two more that would be out for Friday and Saturday.
Usually around. Usually silent.

The banner that was up yesterday was spray painted or something. It was huge though, kinda funny. I de-volunteer myself from holding up Fred's though, hehe. This printed one should be cool though, good work.

How big?? Dang, makes me feel inadequate... but not really... printing is prettier than spraypaint...Originally posted by Riotz

Fred the Banner that Strider produce on Thursday is an estimated 70 feet long. It is huge. It was long enough that it almost covered 2 full rows of seats and require 4 AO members to hold it. It was a beautiful site to see and very hard to miss.

Update on the banner contest.
AGD Pride chose the winners the winners last night. Otis and Fred each won a warp feed. I believe strider is the one who created the largest banner (over 50 feet?), he won the RT Pro.
Needless to say, whenever they displayed the banners pride lost. Must have been jinxed or something!
Congrats guys.

Whoohoo! Warp! Thanks guys!
AGD Rocks!

p.s. unless somebody from AGD wants to stop by my place on their way home (near Ann Arbor MI, feel free to stop in, it could be a mini-MI-AO-meet), I trust Wyn or Potatoboy to hold it for me until they get back home.

Yup, that was me. We figure it was close to 75'! Due to the effort involved in unrolling and rerolling, we never did a final count...AGD Pride chose the winners the winners last night. Yeh, we were thinking that too!Needless to say, whenever they displayed the banners pride lost. Must have been jinxed or something!
The RT Pro we won was a RTX Pro! All black centerfeed body, that is one sexy marker!
Everyone laughed, but the cool part for me was that I actually got a marker inside a cool white box! All my markers (that I got new at least) have all came directly off the wall. So for me, it was neet to 'break the seal' and be the first person outside the factory to fondle it.
Something neat that I found in the box too was a LX installation CD. Neater was the fact it's comming on a 50 meg 'buisiness card' CD.
Alas, as most know, I am an Emag Man. So, my partner in crime (or at least the banner), Andre will be the one ripping up the field with it. As soon as he joins up here, I'll introduce him proper. He was already sort of part of the family, as he owns a Classic mag backing up his current '02 Cocker he uses now.
