Do we all have a Freak kit in a barrel?

What I am thinking is that if you get a very large bore barrel. It has to be the automag kind. and if you enlarge the size of the nubbin inside the barrel to cover 1/4 of the circumfrance and that would go into the barrel about a 1" it would make a self adjusting bore. Does this make sense?

not really but I'll take a stab at it. You're suggesting to just bend the nubbins in further on the mag barrels?

          NO!

jesus, what a waste of brain power explaining this to you. it's not where the ball sits, its the fit of the ball to the sides of the barrel. Too tight and you run the risk of ball breakage, too loose and you're efficiency will be horrible and you could have horrible accuracy.

Tell me, in your current barrel, if you positioned a BB perfectly in the middle, with .3" or so on each side....would it shoot well? OF COURSE IT WOULD! that is if it didn't just roll down the barrel and fall out of a port or something...

It would make sense if the nubbin continued through the entire barrel. But dont make it a nubbin anymore, make it something like this

make it sort of an insert that has a little pressure in whatever way you want it to, that pushes it up against the ball, making the barrel fit the ball only. There could probably be problems with the barrel being round or not, but I dont think it would be too bad unless you had terrible paintballs. The picture is exaggerated (sp?) the actual sleeve that pushes against the paintballs would be much closer to the barrel. There is a lip in the front that is flush against the barrel so the ball can travel up it (again, exaggerated in the picture)

do you guys know what I mean?

I think that wold break alot of paint.........it would also not be very efficient. having constant pressure on the ball as it travels down the barrel would be like having a tight bore/paint match all the time, no matter what paint you had. your barrel would also have to be slightly oval to accmodate the spring loaded plate at the bottom to move. again, bad for efficiency

Hey falcon, if you want 1 side of your barrel to be straight that would work just fine.

the psycho ballistics whatever barrel its called that u "click" to different bore sizes is the closest you're gonna get. Arma something?

i followed that, i think. basically you're thinking about using the nubbin to "close the gap" right? the problem w/ that is that the nubbin will for 1 bend and for 2, only close the gap where the nibbin is, not all the way down the barrel, so it wouldn't work.....if i understood you right

You could have a jelly bore barrel! It squishes around the paintball!! .. And about the BB's... I'm going to make a automag BB barrel.
