Hey, can anyone out there tell me if you can get a teflon coated body for a mag anodized?

If the base metal of the body is Alunminum then you wil have to strip off the teflon coating before it can be anno'd. If it's not then you will have to have it powder coated, which produces a very nice finish. I hope that this has answered your question. -
no you cant because the teflon coated bodies are stainless(the stock ones) as temo said if its aluminum it canComment

Teen, If you have a black teflon coat automag body, it is NOT aluminum.
It is stainless steel.
The only way you have an aluminum automag body is if you have:
1. some type of pro-team products micromag
2. an x-mag, or SFL
3. on of the brand new ULE bodies or custom milled sluggos.
ALL aluminum mag bodies take 'cocker barrels.
If your gun takes a twist lok barrel, it is stainless steel.
You cannot annodize stainless steel- - the sulfuric acid in the anno bath will destroy it.
Hope this clears things up for you.
