AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I didn't work on the cocker but I did work on a kids Spyder. Dad was pretty impressed that I knew what was going on with it. Not like I don't work on about a hundred spyders a week at the shop.
I was telling the folks while eating dinner at the Lone Star Cafe (being from Texas is just weird eating there, fajitas in Canada is a weird idea) about fixing a pair of eye glasses at a tournament and turning the tech sheets in for the office gals to enter into the computer. I got a phone call from that one.

I feel the need to explain the "buck fiddy"
I got everyone on the new canadian to US conversion rate.
2 bucks canadian = a buck fiddy
10 bucks canadian = a buck fiddy
a million canadian = a buck fiddy
you get the idea
Hmm, I think everyone about hit the nail on the head with some of these. So I'll do a quick post of memories (Some good and some bad).
Next event that Hayhem is at I need to bring a tablet and pen. He comes up with too many good ones to remember.
Starting and being apart of Havoc's first snowball battle.
Building Brad his snowman
Wyn's socks (this is one of those bad memories). BTW, anyone take them outta the window before we left? Oh, and what about the banner??? (That one is serious).
Running all the way up to the room to post that the Kids won, just to find out that Kaiser_Bob already posted
Jon (nothing more to say)
The look on Clare's face as we are driving around Toronto looking for the cache.
Getting Wyn into the event for free on Saturday, and the laughter it got from the people visiting the booth. "Give me your hand".
Havoc's soldering technique.
Seeing the picture of Mayhem's brother and sister.
That's all for now. It was great meeting all the new faces (sorry if I don't remember you at the next event), And hanging out with all the old ones. Thanks to Jon, well, for just being Jon. Thanks to Brad and Kayle for putting up with me sitting infront of their tech area half the time and also for taking me out to geocache.
I totally forgot about Havoc soldering with his arc welding soldering gun. Looked like something out of Star Wars. It lit up and everything.
