Ya know, I'd love to also. I think it's one of those "right place right time things". But I may be wrong.

Tom told me the best way to make a small fortune in the paintball industry was to start with a large fortune...

      I believe him.

similar to warren buffets response to the question "how do you become an instant millionare?"...."Begin by being a billionare and buy an airline company."

if ya want jobs in the PB industry, you have to offer something: skills in marketing/engineering/biz admin/etc

i wish my inventions would just get recognized, maybe then i could be in the industry, but i never have the resources to produce and patent them.

there are alot of opportunities to become a tech, just figure out what manufacturer you are interested in learn everything you can about their product and then take their tech class. most fields/stores have techs on staff, then there are the other jobs needed to run a field or store ie. field manager, inventory manager, etc. if you want to get into the larger picture of the industry its good to know people that can help you get to where you want to be.

Try this, open up a pro shop of your own, it doesnt have to start out big, just big enough to start getting buisness and such, then eventually open up an indoor field =) ..thats what i ""want"" to do when i get in my 20's
