    breaking paint...

OK, one of my problems is busting paint. Does any one think they kno (or does kno) what casuses this? I thouight its cuz the paint is either brittle\thin, or bad paint to barrel match. When I get super accurate shots, but then a break, I assume its cuz the shell is thin???

What are some paints that will hardly ever break in gun?

Thanx fer any help, becuz this has been bothering me.

lookin fer IR3 or Xtreme (C&C)

One thing you gotta keep in mind is the weather. Our New England weather really plays havoc with the paint. For instance, We (my kid & me) shot JT, SlamBall, & El Tigre on Sunday. JT's and slam were awesome, no breaks between the both of us, and I had 1 chop because I let the Revy run out. At the end of the day we start shooting the El Tigre, and we both start breaking paint like crazy. Moral of the story? You just can't predict how the paint is going to be on a given day. All 3 paints are basically the same (RPS advantage) but some just work better than others.

A short, large bore barrel helps when the weather gets funky.

Is 3 cases of paint too much to shoot in 1 day?

i was breaking paint like crazy in our tourny on sunday.. i couldn't figure it out it just kept breaking almost 1 out of ten balls. finally i saw that the wire numbin was broken so i think that might have been a big problem. i figured it was something with the nubin because it was tripple firing and double firing and it never does that.

Alright pal, lemme break this to you easily. Mags have ALWAYS been tough on paint, they require very high paint match and very good conditions. Keep in mind that the weather is getting alot colder, and like i told you before mags are tough on paint to begin with, now that the weather conditions are just worsening it will only add on to the paint chopping problems. You have to remember mags are very very good paintgun markers but the bolts are metal on metal-with mags the bolt hits the paintball at a very strong speed. I played a tournament a few weeks back on an exceptionally cold weekend and all i did was chop with my e-mag, actually 90% of the people at the tournament were chopping because of the cold conditions. Just remember paintball is more of a summer/warm weather sport and when conditions become worse chopping becomes worse.

-As far as good paint goes i always recommend diablo Blaze or Higher Quality, or Pro-Ball ( NEVER USE RP SHERER)

-I also recommend a higher feeding system, such as the HALO that thing is going to rock paintball and change the sport soooo much...

          well well

          I dont short stroke.

THe weather was 56-57 one days (lots o breaks.
Next day, using Proball, it was maybe 45-55. Less breaks, less accuracy.
why not use a foamie if the Mag bruises balls like mad?
