Dear AO family,
As of 10 March '03, I will be activated. I will be part of Armored Task Force 185, slated for Korea.
I will be pre-screening all next week, then most likely be on my way to Ft. Lewis in Washington. From there it's a good bet I will be sent to Yakima Training Center, also in Washington. After that, it looks like a long plane ride to Seoul.
The timing of gaining new Mods here, could not have been more fortuitous. My duties as a Moderator for AO will be put on hold indefinately. I do not know when I will be released from duty, nor do I care.
My duty is to my Country first, my soldiers under me second, and the welfare of my family third. I will sorely miss all of you, but since there are internet accessable 'puters all over the world, I will still be able to keep an eye on you guys
So long friends, I'll talk to you all soon.
SGT David Medzyk, Bco, 340th FSB, 40th Infantry Division (mech) Dragon Slayers
