I've got a strange Splatmaster -- Info?

I picked up this old Splatmaster (serial no. H26503) from a guy who used to play way back in the day and was cleaning out his closets. Also included were the shop goggles he used and some old 12 gram "power packs" which it still shoots great on. That weird thing is that it has an extended barrel, which is something I've never seen before on a spatmaster: the thing sticks a clean 4 inches out the front of the marker even before its cocked. Anybody know anything about extended barrel splatmasters? Any idea how much one is worth?

They sold those as an upgrade kit. I believe it was NSG that made them. What you got there is a nice collectors item.

i'll second that! my first gun was a splatmaster('90) and i remember the "awesome accuracy" that those extra three inches of barrel where supposed to get you if you bought that upgrade. cool collectors item for sure!

we used to attach snorkels to the feed tube to hold extra shots, never saw a longer barrel.
