i was looking through some mags and whatnot, why u ask, because i am asking for one for christmas, i am leading toward the classic68 with powerfeed left, i got that, and probably also an AA 14", besides that im lost, this is going to be my first mag, i have played for almost a year now with a totally stock(yes all stock) compact 2000, and i feel its time to go up to the next level, any suggestions would be well appreciated, also could you explain the air valve microline macroline thing to me, i am very lost on what i would need to get for it to work properly(as i mentioned im new at the mag thing) thank u

New mag
Well...you are on the right track. Just get a stock powerfeed mag. If you get it new, It will come with everything you need except a tank. Try to get some kind of High pressure air tank. Mags work better with those. The mag comes standard with stainless steel braided line, which is attatched to the valve and bottom constant air adapter. This line is not removeable without a wrench. If you want the line to be removeable, or you want to change the configuration of the gun, pick up some macroline and swivel fittings. It will make it much easier to disassemble. Stay away from the microline as it can be dangerous at times. Hope this answers some of your questions, and don't hesitate to ask more questions. The mag is one of the greatest markers of all time, and you have made the right choice!

Alright if you buying a completely stock mag and u want a 14in AA barrel this is what u will need. If I were you I would also get instead of the hopper left go with the hopper right just incase you wanted to get warpfeed down the road, a hopper right body would make ur set up better if you are right handed if not get the hopper left cuz that will allow for the best warp setup if you planned on geting one down the road.
You will need an a-chamber if ur using co2 and if not either a gas-thru foregrip or just a plain foregrip, these are optional but are nice to have and make the gun much easier to hold if u get a xchamber or gas-thru grip you will need a vert adapter so u can screw it in and for a regular non gas-thru there is a screw hole in the top of it so it mounts without a vert adapter.
Next air hoses, you can either get steel braided, macroline or microline and there are a few different ways to run the hoses. One would be to get steel braided and get a Quick Disconnect so u can remove the valve. You could either run the hose in a big loop from the valve to ASA adapter or if u get a gas-thru grip or x-chamber u can run one from the valve to vert adapter then from the bottom of the x-chamber or gas-thru grip to the ASA adapter. Then the same ways to route the hose goes for the macroline and microline but you do not need the quick disconnect. I recomend macro it is easy to take off when u need to take out the valve has a good flow rate and is easy to bend. You will also need an ASA adapter which is the part where you screw in ur tank at. You do not need one if u have a bolt on tank only for screw in nitro anks and co2 tanks.
If you dont plan on getting nitro right off I reccomend getting an anti Syphon co2 tank, this helps keep the liquid out of the gun.
That should get you going there are other optional itmes you can get such as a dropforward, aftermarket trigger frame and many other things, but this should be fine until you want to start upgrading it.
Also i wasnt sure if you were confused on how the macro or micro line came out of the fittings, if you were you just push the little mettal sleve on the end of the fitting down and slide out the hose. I hope I worded that so you understand it a little better.
I hope I clarified some stuff for you.

If I were you....
I would go to www.paintballgear.com and they have an Automag Package , you get a ...
68 Classic Automag
12" Smart Parts Progressive
68 3000 Flatline Nitro System
Mine came assembled and its very nice, the consisntency on it is amazing! Plus the Flatline tank is adjustable! Its only like 420 bucks for the package, and its all you need! I think that is your best deal, later you can upgrade to a power feed body or you can get this package with a power feed body but its like 70 bucks extra. I would go this way if I were you.Team GoodFellas

i got the paintballgear nitro package with the powerfeed body. very nice gun, and they send me both the 12" progressive and an 11" aluminum. don't ask me where that came from, but i'm not gonna complain : ). i had to replace the regular bottom line and the steel hose with my macroline kit and flatline system. that wasn't a very big operation. if you call them you can sometimes get a better deal. i got all that and a 9v revvy for $496(which included 2 day shipping). you may notice the progressive isn't in my sig. i traded it and $30 for a boomstick from a guy who's trying to get rid of his minimag. he just needed a barrel to sell with it, so i offered him the trade. : )Emag Black ULE(Xvalve)

yeah, that's actually the reason i called them in the first place. the option used to be there but then they re-did that particular part of the site and it disappeared. just call them and they can get you squared away with a p/f bodyEmag Black ULE(Xvalve)

Again, thank you, this is one of the reasons i chose the automag, this forum, if you have a problem come here and either ADG themselves or another person can help it, and the fact the mag uses science, not "magic" as one person said to make their guns great.
