Trying to make a field need experts help

K, I am with a College club and we think we want to make a field. We are looking at prices on n2 equipment and airball fields. We prefer going with an airball field since that is what many use at tourneys and for the ease of setting up etc. I have asked around about fill stations etc and got some good feedback etc. So I am curious what other information I should no for starting a small economic field?

Zoning is the number one killer of new potential fields, be sure to investigate thoroughly the location you want to setup the field at. The local agencies (fish and game and EPA (environmental protection agency)) will want to have their say in the matter.

      HEY

Hey, this is Rob from Clemson.

I'm one of the 4 that started the club here and I've been with it for a while.

We built a nice field woods & speedball, working on speedball #2.

It came down to a lot of work for clearing and maintaining the land, as well as building days.

We found a company that would give us a type of fiberglass and kevlar imbedded vinyl that is impervious to paint and rain and sunlight.

This stuff is used by the military for fuel baldders, etc, it's awesome!

We started finding pallets and other structures around campus that were being tossed out because of random stuff that got shipped in on them.

Our field is a recycling center.

Stay away from nails into pallets, cheap wood means they fall apart.

Stay away from tires. Water collects and many problems come from that.

Dude, im me at EzRunner if you wanna chat about it. We had a lot to get it together, too much for one post :-)
