AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Hey now don't knock the Vents. They were the best mask on the market until Scott bought them and stoped production. Heck I now a player in here that still uses his.

Yup, I still have my vents! I also still have a 6-Pak+!
BTW, The check valve can be easily removed from the 6-pak+. However, it still isn't stock class legal, not by a long shot.

Whats all this talk about Vents...none of us are wearing Vents, 4 have Whipper Snappers and I have ICS (Scott but badged by Ideama) the vests we are wearing are Ideama vests. I still have all of the kit in the pic and the braces/suspenders type rig is an Indian Springs AFAIK.
What all have you have missed but kinda touched on it, is that we have rather large ears on the goggles...this was 'cos I cropped the pic and the team was called the Vulcans...hence the ears. The games we won 'cos the other team would say "oh (dash it!) we have the guys with the ears" were quite a lot. As for all of the kit were are wearing this pic was back in 1988 when that was cutting edge stuff
Vents are old, but they are still concidered VERY up-to-date compared to the Whipper Snappers. As for Vents being bought out by Scott. From what I was told, that was not the down fall of Vents, it was the fact that they where not certified. If you look around you can still find the Rage (not as good as the preditors) new over seas. They seem to be really big in the AirSoft marker in Japan.
back in the days there was a resistance to allowing C/A into tournies, 12 grams were prefered. but this thing ironically guaranteed its downfall. it gave 12 gram users the power of a co2 tank, making distinctions between 12g play and c/a play gone.

That was the intent of the 6-Pak+. AGD wanted "Constant Air" to be allowed into tournaments. They were developing a semi-auto that wouldn't work well on 12 grams.
