    Tanks Checked?

I was looking at some compressed air tanks and it said that they need to be "checked".
What does this mean, and where can I get this done?
Can't wait til the big tourney.

They probably mean that it needs hydro testing. All compressed air tanks need to be retested and certified every 3 or 5 years. Welding supply houses tend to have the cheapest rates for retesting tanks. Fire extinguisher places and dive shop also test and certifies them. Rates are from 10 bucks to 35 bucks, from what I've seen.

check your local businesses for test....

every 3 years, or in some cases 5 years, a hp tank has to be hydrostatically tested to make sure that its safe. look in the phone book for welding supplies or fire extinguishers or something along those lines and call them to see if they do it or know where to do it.
