Lo-Rise E-Mag Mainbodies...Black?

Tom said the lo-rise mainbodies will ship the week of the 17th...my question is, will there be black ones?

I will get a black one, if available.

If not black, how about unpolished?

Yes Phil, a BLACK SS no-rise would be nice...(and my cheapest option)

I guess I'll wait around for the new slugs, then have at it with a milling machine (need 'cocker barrels, ball detent & low-rise for that bit of fun)

...or an ULE body, with a no-rise module can I get it in Tequila Sunrise fade? (j/k) Dang, I might as well just get an X-Mag...

well as far as I know they will not be doing black on those SS ones. But you could have it done or something yourself. Or yea get a ULE or something. Or the X! I like your train of thought here. Might as well....

Maybe I'm just confused as usual but...

Aren't the ULE centerfeed bodies w/cocker threads shipping the week of the 17th ? These are the ones that are only gonna be in colors, not polished right ?

I don't recall the dates Tom mentioned but its possible they both are. You would need to go check his post on that. And of course we know such things are subject to change.

IF I recall, they said they couldnt do black because the black would chip when you clamped the feed neck, no?

here was what Tom actualy posted on that:

No-rise stainless bodies should go out week of the 17th.

ULE bodies shipping week of the 17th. No prices yet multiple colors in first batch.

So he never said no polished ULE's but I suspect that may be the case. Some could be natural or Silver or something. Have to wait and see. But he was not clear on what colors the ULE's would be. And he gave the 17th for both of them.

That one Tuna has is certainly an option for you. Its a high rise that had the Bell moved down so it has not clamping ring. And that can be done to any High rise. BradAGD will do em for you. And then you can coat those without any trouble. they fit nice too.

I see Kev. had not remebered that one. Oh well!
