Anyone have experience with new DYE 2pc systems?

I love my DYE barrels and just never got used to my Freak system. Therefore I sold it. I am curious if anyone has had a chance to use the new DYE two piece Ultralite or BS with the interchangeable tips and backs. Any feedback on them would be greatly appreciated.

from what I have been told by people at Dye is that the boomsticks are 2-piece "ScrewSticks" now...but they won't sell you different backs or tips. I don't know why but they just told me no on about a dozen different occassions. If anyone else has been able to get them to sell you different tips and backs please tell me I can argue with them again.

I find it funny that it used to say on website that boomsticks were so accurate because they were glued together unlike the competition which just screws together...

They seem to have changed their mind.

just like how smart parts advertised "closed bolt, for better accuracy and range" about their shocker and when they released teh impy "open bolt, for for more consistnat shot placement"

            oh well

actually there is an artical in a magazine(cant remember which i will try to find) but they found a new way for them to screw together. dye even says in the artical that they would rather have them glued but its all about customer demand.

It was PGI,Febuary issue, page number 52.

He said he developed a method of screwing barrels together without deteriorating the threads. He uses compound threads so the barrel aligns perfectly each time. Or so he says.

Oooooh $10! Off to buy shrinkwrap. I thought the material in it was a bit dated. According to them Rocky, is staying with Avalanche
