AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
That was NiteWolf1138 who so graciously put me back in my bunker with his warped mag. The guy played soooo tight I didn't know he was back there!
We had a GREAT time with you guys & girls and hope to kick it in Austin at the next one!
Jesus Saves....and it don't cost you a dime! Accept Him and you will be saved.
Thanks to everyone that came out, especially Tom! I had a great time and I'm eagerly anticipating the next meet in Austin. It is definitely a treat to be able to play on the same field with other AO'ers.
..apart from the thanks that Havoc already gave out, here's one to TXstorm for my girlscout cookies
As for the vid, I'll be working on that as soon as I receive the rest of the video and after I come back from Louisiana later on in the week.
I also get to brag about how I shot Mr.Mag himself! Don't deny it, Tom!
Originally posted by Havoc_online Thanks to ALL that went and made this meet what was!...I'm sorry I wasnt able to get to hang out with everyone or play too much, I spent a lot of time trying to make sure things ran smoothly for everyone(I hope everyone thinks it did).
Havoc, I think I speak for everyone when I say that it turned out perfect! Thank you, Clare, Datapimp69, and everyone else, Especially Tom Kaye and Fort Paintball! You guys all did an Excelent job!
This was the first time my little brother really got out and played...
Needless to say, he's hooked
Both of us had a blast, as I'm sure everyone else did. Again, Thank you all for the hard work and dedication that was put into this weekends event.
On a side note... Budd Orr doesn't do this kinda thing, does he...?
i am limping around the house tonight! i havent played since jan. we drove for three hours back to austin and when we got out of the car(irs, silent, and willy-t) i almost fell down!
i am planning on being in ok. for d-day this year! ryan(rbreding) played last year and said they are expecting 3k players this year! tom said he is supposed to be the gen. for the allied forces! i have read a couple of articles about this game and apperantly we need to thank our grandparents because, atleast as far as paintball is concerned, the allied forces havent won in the last three years!!!
rbreding says that the field there has shower facilities and rv hook-ups! i ma not yet sure how i am gonna get there but no matter what i'll have an 'ao' sign on my camp-site, look for me!
Speaking of Oklahoma, where is this D-Day thing? We couldn't quite figure it out when we were talking about it last night. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
To vf-xx - kudos to you for being the only person to shoot me all day (and I wasn't even playing). I have a nice blue welt on the side of my leg. Nah, it's not that bad, but it hurts like it's that bad!
Also, I don't remember who had the "action" pics of me - either vf-xx or rjvemt1 - when you get them could you send them to me? I'd like to see just how funny I looked.
