AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Odyssey says a battery pack chuck full of those expensive Lithium double-A's weighs 3oz's less than Alkalines...well, I just dropped $15+ on a six-pack of Lithiums, and they weigh 1.8oz's less than the Alkalines. Oh well, every little bit counts
The Lithiums are light and will save you weight. The Heavy batteries typically are the better ones as far as Alkalines go.
KB - He is using the 9v's in his Evo II not the halo.
The TRUE 9.6v NiMH's will get a good bit of life from just make sure to charge them when your not using them because they ALWAY run out at the worst time :) And they will loss charge as they sit. Thats part of teh nature of NiMH 's
And those Lithiums will got a LOT of life from I ran 1 set from Dec until well into June.

Serving AGD customers since 93, wishing I could beat some common since into some of them about 5 hrs later.
So, on average, lithiums weigh about 2 ounces less than alkalines in a Halo. AA alkalines can be had for .50 each (16-pack), where the lithiums cost me $2.50 each (4-pack)
