the new VL eVLution... How good are they??

    Hi all,

My team are trying to decide which hoppers to get, seeing as we won't be going back to the Revolutions. Has anyone had any problems, as in breakages (casing, neck, etc), of the new "Egg" from VL?? We've been told they feed like they're on 'roids, and we'd rather stay with VL than spend the extra to buy Halos.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Bareback.

P.S. Finally got my AO jersey last week. It looks hell cool!!!!! Thanks again Jamie!!!

Well, my freind who is a very aggresive player has an eggo, well he basically puts his to the limit. Doing superman dives over the snake and landing right on his loader before, all the sliding he does, it has never shown and signs of wear.

But if you guys have feed issues or chop problems, a Halo b would be the best thing to upgrade to. I have used both and even though the halo b is alitle bit heavier, it feeds hell of alot faster.

        Well.....

If you can get around the looks of the thing.... they are sweet. Also.. if you have not seen any of the most recent tourny videos on PIG TV - www.warpig.com (under tournament section)... I suggest you do so. - Mardi Gras and Huntington Beach tournys were dominated by EvoII's, or from at least what I saw.

i love mine and if you break the neck
you dont have to buy a whole new shell
only the right/left raceway(thats what they call the neck)
its only 2.50 a side so for under $10 bucks shipped you have a new neck

oh yeah and there very fast

I love my egg, looks and all. my only problem is that if you break a ball in there, it's a pain to take it apart an clean it, and the put it back together. also i think that it has the best lid out of all the hoppers on the market.

I strongly back the Eggo. Great hopper. BE kinda fudged the Eggo I, but they came back and killed the Eggo II. its a great hopper. stronger than most, and its well built.

                the HALO B feeds ~21bps
                the Eggo feeds ~17bps

the average good toruny player shoots ~15bps MAX

either will preform well enough in real life situations.

the eggo is cheaper and best of all, its lighter

I have the EvoII on my warped Xmag, and i love it. The only thing i didn't like about it was the feedneck, it was long, but i fixed that problem by cutting it down. I yet to REALLY test the EvoII on the Warp at high ROF's, but i will very soon.

If you would like, i can keep y'all informed

EDIT: oopsi, forgot to add pic

Anyone have any idea as to when they will be coming out with coloured EggII's?

a guy i play with got one. he really likes the way it feeds, but its clear...and its a beacon on a sunny day.
we made fun of him sooo much because its so big and it reflected tons of sunlight. he got hit on his hopper like 6 times that day.

Why did they have to make it so fugly such as the feedneck, does that make your gun unbalanced? It sure seems so

The feedneck is really long cause they wanted it to ball stack. Actually if you use one, its really suprisingly balanced.
