More shots with output at 450psi?

    Ok, heres the dealy.
I might buy a tank that has a fixed output at 450psi.
#1 Will my stock valve classic mag run on this?
#2. Will I get more shots out of this than a normal tank of same size, pressure, with an output of 800?
    Thanks.
Can't wait til the big tourney.

A 450 psi tank will last you all day. Well even all week! Cause you will not be using any air...At all! You will save on paint too...

      Don't buy it...

AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!

        too low

To give a serious answer, your Mag doesn't want any air input less than 650 psi and won't be too happy untill you get above 800.

So look for tanks that have 850psi ouputs.

The mag does run around 400 to 450 psi, but it has its own regulator built in. If you add another reg, it has to be at least 200psi or higher in order to maintain air flow to the second reg. That is why you must use a higher output tank.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

it has been done. people using adjustable tank can gut the magreg and run it off that. People forget that main area of constriction of flow is the on/off, so any gain in flow is minimal.
