Who else would like to pick wich side there valve is tapped?

I know I've heard other people say it. But why do all the valves have to be tapped for air on the left side. Wouldn't it be nice to pick the side, or even have both sides tapped with a moveable plug for the side not used?
(I'm sure this has been done before... so sue me)

Having both would be the better choice and even sweeter!

Having both sides tapped with a plug for one side is a good idea.

Getting to pick which side is tapped (if only one) would put even more pressure on an already over-taxed AGD IMHO.

This is a hot topic for me. it would be nice to choose if we had the plug idea as stated above.

I thought they were coming out w/ x valves that were tapped on the left but I haven't seen any info latety. It may look odd but could the valve just be made to mount upside down? That way you could have just one air hole and pick which side you wanted it to be on

due to the on/off assembly this would make it a bit more difficult.

Ok well here a question I never asked but Lance and I were talking abuot this the other day as he is left handed and I am right handed and he was checking out my Xmag...

Why can't they, or better yet, can they be tapped on BOTH sides? Like with a plug in one side or the other so you could change them over if you wanted to and plug the other side. I not looked at that realy from the inside but it seems it could be a logical solution to tap them on both sides and just plug the one you were not using with an allen plug. Huh?

um...its not a poll option though! Well both is not realy distinguised from choice of side and you can already get them one side or the other...

you say you can pick the side, but how many are actually made left tapped? isn't default right tapped?

Yes by default but Tom makes batches of other side threaded from time to time. he has a batch in or soon as a matter of fact. I remember him posting that recently. So they are a choice some of the time. Not always in stock though. So I agree wider more constant availability might still be an issue for your poll. But it is an option just not a constant option is all.

heh, I included a dual tapped valve design in my Dream Emag entry. I think it would be a great idea. You could also use a micro gauge on one side to keep an eye on tank out pressure.
