    slide check shootdown?

i recently put a slide check on my mag, and i've noticed a little shootdown/inconsitancy, more of inconsistancy, i've had it shooting +/- 3 fps before, but my last game(sunday) i was shooting +/- like 10. can i just drill out the holes in the slide check to make them bigger and have a larger higher flow rate?

You coud always put the slide check after your air/valve connection. This way it can sill release the air pressure form the line but not limit the flow between the valve and air system.

ummm, how would that work? the air still needs to flow threw it to get to the valve. and i have it directly on my valve, well it's on on a 90* elbow attached to my valve

A larger hole might cause the o-ring to get cut. Instead, add another one or 2 small holes around the shaft. Be sure and debur.
