My sister wants to get into paintball more and she is kind of lacking self confidence, although a lot of girls are in paintball, she still find it a male dominated sport and she gets very shy. I was hoping you could give me ideas to try and support her into getting in, I just thought you would have some ideas seeing as how, you yourself, are a girl. Thanks a bunch, I really appreciate this.

Find other girls in your area who play to invite your sister out to play with them. That's how my GF got more involved in paintball.

Try organizing a girls day out. Set it up as a private group so they don't have to deal with all the machismo crap that often flying thicker than the paint in the air.

Organizing a female group to go out and play is the best way to go. Also, Try to make sure that the gun she will be using is working properly. It's not fun to go out there your first time with a malfunctioning marker. You could also suggest for her to wear heavylayers of clothing or a chest protector.Comment

Convince a group of your buddies and one really little kid to get shot by her then compliment the hell out of her. In return tell them you'll pick one of their names out of a hat and she'll make whoopee with that person. Pick the 6 year old kid they were all wondering why he was there anyways. Laugh when you tell him what whoopee means and he runs away. Enjoy your sisters new confidence, and make her buy you dinner.

ok, thanks everyone for the tips! thanks clare for the multiple layers idea, we never thought of that, although now with all the layes she looks liek a marshmallow.

First you get her to invite about a dozen of her cutest female friends over for a slumber party. You have her tell em its a Lingerie' party...then...oh wait....that is something else...never mind.... carry on....
