Can anyone try to ID a reg for me?

Hey guys. I bought this as a system X tank. It has slight issues, but nothing huge and nothing I don't think I can fix. It's late so I'll get into the issues tomorrow, and I'm not expecting too many replies at this time anyways.

Here's some pics of the reg:

I know that system X uses a few different regs, whatever's cheap/available at the time, and calls em system X's. The tank's date is 06-01, so I assume the reg is from around that time.

Its red, hexagonal, and I forgot to take a pic but its got 4 indent/holes drilled around the pin valve. It's got a fill nipple, a guage, and a 4500psi burst disk (Shouldnt it be 5000???). Anyhow, i filled to 3000 today, first my fill nipple leaked, got that down, then it leaked just a bit out of the release hole on the reg. While filling from my near empty scuba it also leaked out of that hole til I had a few 100psi in there.

Anybody at least know what reg it is, that's the 1st step to fixing this thing again, because I sure as hell aint sending it to system X, if they havent changed drastically since the last time i tried to resolve a problem with them I'll probably never see it again if i ship in.

Anyhow, Who knows the mystery of the mysterious reg?

Its had like 5 owners so far

First, get a new fill nipple such as one off a PMI. next take teh reg of the tank and clean it out and use dow or something and re oil/gresee it.

Thats System x's own reg, their first one.I got it new right when they came out, it had shoot down and I sold it to a teammate

arent you not supposed to grease or oil anything that has to do with HPA as it will likely catch fire or explode?

You're not suppose to put oil into your fill nipple to oil your HPA system because the majority of "paintball" oils are rebottled petroleum machine oil that has a flash point and depending on how fast the tank is filled and the temp. outside, it can create a fire.

Synthetic greases and oils you don't need to worry about, but it's still not a good idea to oil the system through the fill nipple. It's better to disassemble the reg. and oil the o-rings and moving parts by hand. For preset systems, this is rather difficult so it's better to just leave them alone and make sure you keep a fill nipple cap on it at all times.
