Tom ... need to know measurement of pump hole in bodies

    Tom,

I am wanting to turn a slug body into the new body of my pump mag, and wondered if it would be possible to get where the opening for the pump rod goes in the bodies. I have a pump body, but not sure if the person doing the milling would be accurate enough by eye.

Would love it if you could help with my request.

Well I'm not Tom but if you have a pump rail, you could probably figure it out pretty easily.

Measure how far off the centerline the pump slot is, and then you know how far from the centerline the pump rod will be. You'll need to mill at least that much extra width on one side of the slot in the bottom of the sluggo in order to make room for the pump rod tip to raise up and touch the bolt. The length of the slot should be the same.
