I thought the X-Mags came with a switch instead of the Yellow Pin? Are they not doing the switch or what?

the first ones came with the yellow pins
they have on/offs now but you can still use the pin for
another way to cut power

Yes, it comes with the on/off switch.

My only thing is the ACE. I saw Wonderpug's last night and it had a black casing around the wires on the ACE eye itself. Mine is just a little tower of resin goo. Are they supposed to have them?

Yours should have a black plastic cone over it. Sounds like your came off to me...

I kinda figured... I doubt Tom would've engineered it like that. But if mine and Fire's didn't get them, maybe they got forgot? Cuz I didn't see it anywhere in the box.

BTW- when we register them, can we use the website? Cuz they only have an option for Emag, not Xmag.

I duno Day mine has the black cover with the flat top and slits in it. But then again I not seen very many of em so...

Gunga registered mine while it was there for me so I not realy know but the valve number is the key so I suspect it will be fine to register it as an Emag with that valve number. They will know what it is when they see that valve number.

I have the little eye on the top in the black casing, but no casing around the "Tower of Gooo" and I found that kinda odd. I may have to call Jon tonight. Hope I don't interrupt anything.

i saw in an earlier post something about the box, i was just curious what the XMAG box looked like, i remember having a big hoopla about boxes quite a while ago

anybody got pics? or is it a plain white one

It should have the black cover on it. The cover fits nicely into the breech and seals it pretty well. If you dont have a cover it could get very very messy in there. With the cover off, the eye "stem" is only about 1/8" diameter and looks like it could get bent pretty easy, maybe even broke off. I believe the "resin goo" is silicone. but mine is one of the ones from IAO so maybe they use something differnet now.
