    Racegun Autococker Valves?

Does anybody know what kind of solenoids the racegun uses? I was wondering if i could use this type of solenoid valve in place of the raceframe's?

    just wonderin.

RaceGuns Denmark uses SMC solenoids, the same maker that supplies 'noids to WDP for their Angels.

You have a pic of Pneutronics solenoids, very similar to those used in the original PVI Shockers. Where'd you get the pic?

          Sup Doc

W00t Doc chipped in! He's the man.

When they select a solenoid for this application there are several factors to consider:

Operating pressure (psi): you want to be able to take at least 100 psi, but the unit should be able to withstand a blast of 140psi or so without damage.

Voltage: signal / logic voltage in most of the markers is 5, 5.5, 6, or 3.3 volts. So the solenoid must operate properly in that range.

Current Drain: Can you keep enough current to the solenoid to get your desired # of shots?

I think that you should be able to shoot 10,000 shots between charges / batteries as a minimum. This would be about 5 cases or a good day of 10 man for someone in the back

So you have to have a solenoid that won't be destroyed by the user misadjusting the LPR input to the device, and you have to be able to run it for a full day / preferably weekend of play.
