they may feel cheap because.. they use the bob long millenium (spyder clone) bodies for the timmy as well... so they may feel cheap.. but they are one of the best guns you could get (in my opinion)

ok but thats like saying an impy is works cheaply because it uses a spring to recock the ram like a spyder does.
metal is metal, whether the body design is diff or takes off of a spyder, theyre all metal and nothing can make metal feel cheaper than metal. (see its so bad it doesnt even make sense)

                They are great guns.

People call them spyder clones because they are made from spyder clone bodies. And BTW, the internals are supposedly bushy ints, but thats only on the classics I belive.

Good to know that somone of Tom's status seeks "relief" from a sport he helped create. A sport now ruled by a single patent.

                    FYI -

A mag spring is for recock, spyder is for firing stroke of hammer.Big difference in terms of the springs effect on the potential consistancy of the gun.

An Impy doesn't use any springs for any part of the cycle. It has only 2,one of which can be removed entirely, and one is internal to the 'noid.

As far as Timmys,I think they feel a little cheap, feel not are, because they are fairly large bodied guns for their weight. It seems they are milled pretty thin giving it small amount of a tin can kinda feel, and there's some hollow sounding areas of the body.I personally think the dragons and such that have all that bolt on chrome nonsense look quite cheap.

Never played very long with one so I can't/won't comment on any other aspects.

                    Jay.

i used to think that they felt like toys. then i played a whole day with one, and then i bought one. i really loved it, but the thing was mine was cursed (long story) so i got rid of it and bought me a trix.

moral of the story, making assumptions about a certain type of marker makes you sound like an idiot; even if you have fired one once.

Timmys are toys. I use them with little toy action figures. one time i was playing with them on my window sill and the timmy fell out of the action figures hand and when it hit the ground the handle broke off. what kind of gun is that? it was only a 3 story drop.

haha just kidding, i think timmys are great. better than cockers.

I held a 2k2 timmy, didn't fire it, fired it without air just clicking the trigger... they are insanely light. I mean, INSANELY. That's why most people feel that they are "cheap"... they associate the lightness with poor durability/toyishness, and thus they are dubbed cheap. I personally didn't like the feel of it, but I'd shoot one if I had the chance.

Intimidators are the shiz-niz. i have never owned any Timmy's might i add... But there are just sooo many people around here that do own them. I can honestly say on an average day of walkons, about 40% of walkon players use Timmys and about 70% tourny players do so. There is a reason why so many people have them. Espeically the GZs. They are extremely light, insanely easy to walk the trigger, very consistant and look real spiffy. What else would you want in a gun?

The ability to double over as a bludgeoning weapon of mass destruction! I can easily bludgeon 3 people to death with my mag before you even knocked 1 person unconscious with your timmy!
