powdercoating by redrider

holy mackinaw!!! I just got my RT parts (foregrip mount, sight rail, main rail) back from redrider, who did them in this funky blue powdercoat


man this thing is darn sexy! all i can say is wow

the finish he gave me is this really cool blue/purple chameleon in the light and has a really cool 3d like effect to it, all i can say is I am really impressed,


its making me regret trading this rt for a cocker, but dang, i am having redrider do this to my normal mag as soon as i can get a sightrail and get the parts to him.

any one who says mags are plain looking really needs to see this RT, i mean dang.....

Yeah I know, fuzzzzzy! But its a little darker than it looks, it has the chameleon thing, and is 3d also(textured I guess you would call it). Thanx, but no you can't borrow it , unless you come play at a field I am playing at, then yes...for a game

I have a warp, the bracket is at stupid Proteam...theyve had it for like 6weeks...And its a warpbody Emag, I cracked an elbow using a hopper on it lol

if you paint your main body, will it cause tolerance issues betweent he rail and body? Would it just be a better idea to keep the body on the rail and use some tape in the edge?

Also, what is the coating on the mag? Can that be painted over or will it come off easier?

I'm thinking of using some R/C fuel proof paint to do my mag. Its fuel proof, heat resistant, and somewhat flexible. A black to maroon bubble fade would look sweet! What kind of clear coat should go over?
