    Milling Question

    Can I possibly Get my PTP 2k Micro Mag body Milled like this or close? I would even like to take out the current ball detent and replace it with a AGD Angel ball Detent.

    Is it at all possible or am I waisting my time thinkin about it?

      No. Shake that thought out of your head.

      That's called ripper milling, costs several hundred bucks now that the company that made it has recouped its program costs. Used to be a lot more money. It'd be several grand just to get someone to write the CNC code for that, and then you're still not gonna find a blank body to start off.

          Maximum Cries. Well damn, I gotta get this sight rail milled off at least. Anyone have any suggestions on a possible Milling idea for a Micro Body?

              You could get it milled anywhere you like, any place that specializes in paintball gun milling could do it, and most local machine shops too as well, i'd assume.

              Problem is then you're left with raw ground down metal on the top of your gun, then you have to get it annoed for like 100 bucks to look nice, and you're gonna have a 200 buck lighter wallet, and honestly I dont think it'd look any better. I don't mind the sight rail at all

              For 200 bucks I'd pick up a ULE rail and a ULE body, you'll be able to sell your micro E body or keep it, and that'd be lighter and nicer

                  get one of the deadly winds chord bodies, like the one nicad had at the AO meet. its similar to the ripper milling in my eyes.

                      That is definately the great thing about mags these days , there are so many options. Alright. thanks for your input Mossman. I will just keep my Micro Body as is. I dont see many of them out there anyway..

                          Yes I am waiting to see the OTV version =)

                          Going to say Screw waiting on a X mag and buy a used E-mag and buy ULE parts for it.
